@disneytipsguy We live in the Midwest. We use DVC to get us the opportunities to stay at nicer resorts on property and plan more frequent trips. For us, it's been totally worth it but I fully accept that it's not for everyone.
@disneytipsguy We like 3-5 day trips but doing it multiple times a year. We're also intense during that time so we need a vacation from our vacation sometimes lol
@MrNunesteach Be OK with being friendly but not friends. The thing that kills your staff morale quickest is them feeling like you favor some over others.
@theDRAMAgoat1 Supported a cross country coach in getting paid for his time. Biggest thing is sharing what others in the area are receiving for the same position. Hours worked can help but we had much more success showing what others received vs hours worked
@N_Marie_W I've spent nearly 50% of my time making phone calls, home visits, problem solving, setting up individual/group counseling, figuring our why they aren't there and providing that reason to be there - it's making a dent but not fast enough and its exhausting
@blocht574 My only thought of why to do this would be to have an early "easy" grade to bump up student's overall grades. Not a great use of a grade and definitely speaks to the overall problem with the way someone grades.
