@ameengl@threejs Amazing work ! Did you perchance use the Suckerpunch studios (ghost of tsushima) approach for the compute shaders of the grass and wind ?
This may be some kind of generational fluke, but for the longest time there was an understanding that “just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.” That kept things somewhat regulated. Now that anyone can copy it, @viktoroddy is doing it. Hard.

@Oluwaphilemon1 It's so sad to see people trying to get likes and shares by undermining the work of talented creative developers.
This site was made by @victorwork_ - not you - and it was hand coded, using GSAP and three.js for the animation.
Shame on you. Delete this.
Many people asked, so – I just published ActiveFrame open source on GitHub.
It's a stripped version of what we've been using so far at @active_theory – but has all the main ingredients. Still lot of work to do

Optimized the three.js WebGPU renderer's memory footprint, reduced per-frame allocations by 41%, cutting
GC pauses by 35% and memory churn by 65%.
Same 120fps, just less waste.
Will PR soon
