@GreyCommentator@Crypto_Kratz IF your 7-2 was right, then it has been 6-3 Freo since then. So much for "lift for Brisbane". Count doesn't matter - no one watching this game could suggest the umps are favouring Brisbane.
@AFL That's absolutely disgusting. Can not possibly meet the criteria burden of proof. AFL should come out and reverse this before Port have to take them to court. Horrendous.
@cleary_mitch@XanderMcGuire7@7AFL Should be the easiest deliberation ever. "Is there enough proof to say it is likely he said it?" "No." "Well then we can't find him guilty, can we."
Next.
@WatchAFLGlobal@AFL_House@AFL@kayosports - so, I'm a club member. I'm a Kayo subscriber. And Im overseas for 6 weeks. I look at my options. And it becomes WatchAFL for 80 EUROS. Thats $135. For 6 weeks. That's insane. Surely I'm missing something. This can't be right.
@Danza109@Kouvaau "What's the alternative?". OK, well the part where the ball goes the other direction, Pendles could've changed course and run at that instead. He literally wasn't running in the direction of the ball.
@DidakDT The funny thing is... despite him wanting it to be pronounced 'Grill', that's not really accurate. J makes a y-sound in Slavic languages. I can see what you were going for with "Barbie Grill", but it's funnier when you pronounce it properly - "Barbie Girly".
@afl stand rule looking really pathetic. Players have no idea what is going on. Keep seeing 2-3 players freezing after the umpire yells to stand 3 times, when no one knows who they're yelling at.
@stellacats14@XanderMcGuire7@7NewsMelbourne@7AFL Yeah, he knew he was there. But he didnt know he was lowering himself substantially and that a blocking arm would hit his face. And no, "don't apply defensive pressure" isn't a realistic alternative.
@xParanoidSchizo@UBLfp Righto. Well then we have a difference of opinion. I thought that comparing arm speed to Jones' speed makes it clear the arm was not moving that fast. And I thought it looked like a reasonable attempt to shepherd. Agree to disagree.
@xParanoidSchizo@UBLfp Arm moved backwards to shepherd. In no way was it an attempt to elbow the guy. Your arm moving does not equal a striking action. Height off the ground speaks to duty of care. Bending/lowering yourself comes up a lot at tribunal because it shows it was a reasonable attempt.
@stellacats14@XanderMcGuire7@7NewsMelbourne@7AFL Never said it shouldn't be scrutinised. Just that I don't think he had a realistic alternative to contest. And he did have the right to contest.
@Ryan55149071627@AFL Of course Jones is entitled to go for the footy. He did nothing wrong. But Harris shepherded with his arm around waist height - that is a duty of care. It was just an accident. "Not reasonable to swing your arm that high" - go rewatch it. It wasn't a high arm at all.
@stellacats14@XanderMcGuire7@7NewsMelbourne@7AFL Well then let's figure out which Dog tackled Hugh McCluggage and give him a week. And who is the Dog who collided with Tom Liberatore? He deserves a week too.
Outcome plays too much of a role. This doesn't appear to me a reportable offence. Injury was an unfortunate accident.
@stellacats14@XanderMcGuire7@7NewsMelbourne@7AFL Well, you've clearly rebutted my points very well. I am well aware of my biases. I think Gardiner and Bailey both deserve a week. I honestly don't know how Harris' is a reportable offence unless you just ignore the action and focus on the outcome.
@oliverburdick Gotta say, as a non-American Christian, your government looks absolutely nothing like Jesus. Jesus preached love, kindness, caring for the poor and needy. US govt has slashed foreign aid, cut taxes on the rich and cut healthcare for the poor, and encourages hating your neighbour.
