@melbrethour@Mrs_S_Cilia I have questions about the 2nd point “words are not stored…” A child can recognize a dog by looking at a silhouette of a dog. Can you compare or relate this to the shape of a word? Please discuss…
23,000 children were on the waitlist to access autism services when the Ford government pledged to clear it in 2019. Now it's almost tripled to 60,000. Advocates call it a glaring injustice "these are real lives, families with real challenges." Full story: https://t.co/JuiCEZQiAc

Three major healthcare unions have come together to sign a solidarity pledge at Queen’s Park, to protect the system from “privatization driven by the Ford government. As dangerous staffing levels go from bad to worse, our unions are pledging solidarity to save Ontario hospitals.”
We've been waiting 15 months for the Ford Conservative govt to engage in "spirited discussions" at the bargaining table – & we're still waiting.
#CatholicTeachers have been ready since day 1 to discuss key issues critical to #onted students. Why hasn’t @Sflecce? 🤔 #onpoli
“Although I’ve seen Minister Lecce quite a bit on social media and in media interviews, he hasn't seen fit to reach out to me in person for a meeting in two years. And I’ve only spoken with the Premier twice. Facts matter. And good faith bargaining matters!” #onpoli

"No one wants #OntEd to be treated like the greenbelt… for sale to the highest bidder. The govt continues to shortchange education & views schools as “real estate assets” & not as vital community spaces that bring ppl together to learn & collaborate."

Two weeks ago, #ETFO and @OECTAProv filed unfair labour practice complaints with the OLRB, asserting the Ford government violated its legal obligation to bargain in good faith by implementing PPM 168, as this was a topic of discussion at the bargaining table.
Prior to the start of the OLRB hearing, which was scheduled for this week, the Crown made an offer to settle the complaints. In our view, this is a – belated, but welcome – recognition by the government that the unilateral implementation of PPM 168 contravened collective agreements, violated the statutory freeze period during bargaining, and circumvented the bargaining process. #onted
