Why do people feel attacked when someone says or does something that exposes how their own actions affect them?

Should in case you don’t understand what Christ has done for you; what Christ has done for you isn’t your houses, cars, or anything you currently have or desire to have.

What Christ has done for you is the salvation of your soul.

It means your soul can no longer be destroyed. Your soul has internal security with God.

It also means your soul has been saved from the destruction of the life after.

I hope this helps you shape your view of what God has done for you.

That’s why my prayers 90% of the time are, "Thank God for the gift of salvation," "Thank God for internal life," and "Thank God for another beautiful day."

My emphasis most times is on what God has done (eternal), not on material possessions.

While the man who gave you life abandons you from childhood and is absent for most of your life.

Who do you owe more respect and loyalty to?

The man whose blood runs through your veins?

Or the man whose sweat, sacrifices, prayers, time, and resources helped make you who you are?

Biology gives you a father by blood.

Presence gives you a father by experience.

You can never change who gave you life. But you should never forget who helped you build your life.

Sometimes, the man who did not give you his blood is the man who gave you everything else.

If you know how quickly people can move on, you learn not to exhaust yourself trying to please everyone or hold on to things that are no longer meant for you.

Do your best. Be genuine, give your best, treat people well, and make your intentions known. But once you have done your part, let go of the need to control how others respond.

People change, circumstances change, and sometimes, even the things you thought would last do not. That’s life.

So give your best while you can, love sincerely, and appreciate people while they are around. But when it’s time to let go, let go with peace.

Do your best, leave the rest, and keep moving forward.

Where someone is born, their circumstances, and the people around them can dramatically shape their opportunities.

Understanding that difference, and treating other people with dignity despite it, is one of the foundations of a better world.

If you think you understand wealth because you know the names of the rich, you may have misunderstood the whole system.

Just ask yourself a simple question:

Why do the general public know about UBA and Zenith Bank and their CEOs, but very few people know the asset-management businesses attached to those financial institutions?

Why do we see celebrities who flaunt wealth publicly but are almost completely blind to the professionals who manage, structure, preserve, and allocate capital for wealthy clients?

This difference is not coincidental.

Banks are a mass-market business. Asset management is a different business. Its value proposition is often based on Trust, reputation, financial history, professional networks, investment knowledge, and relationships with people who already understand capital.

And this misunderstanding is a serious problem in the way that many people view wealth.

We have been trained to see the outward appearance of wealth, not necessarily the architecture behind it.

A person buys an expensive car, builds a massive house, and wears luxury clothing, and suddenly society thinks, “This person understands money."

But where's the balance sheet?

Where is the investment program?

Where’s the cash flow?

Where is risk management?

Where is the succession planning?

Where is the capital preservation approach? Where is the structure that allows wealth to survive after its creator is gone?

That's the difference between looking rich and being rich.

And this is where it gets uncomfortable.

Some people know how to make money, but they have absolutely no clue how to keep it. Some know how to spend money but have never learned how capital works. Some people make a fortune on a deal and mistake that for financial intelligence.

There is a difference between making money and creating sustainable wealth.

You can earn money without a mentor.

You are successful without a mentor.

You can even become rich without knowing financial structures.

But on a sophisticated level of wealth, access to knowledge, experienced professionals, and people that understand capital becomes very valuable.”

So maybe the question should not be:

“Who’s the richest person I know?

Ask questions:

“Who understands the systems of wealth creation, protection, multiplication, transfer, and preservation? The individual who operates the most luxurious vehicle may, in fact, be merely one financial step away from financial ruin.

And the figure behind the curtain can quietly understand the sweep of millions without the public ever knowing his name.

That’s the part of wealth most people never experience to see.

And maybe that is why financial education has a higher importance than financial motivation.

Money can make you chase motivation.

When you finally comprehend it, knowledge teaches you what to do.

The question is not whether you can make money anymore.

The question is, do you understand wealth well enough to keep it?

I once deliberately asked a female friend to take me out for lunch. She said, I will plan it. Over a year ago. She’s still planning it. 😂

I also once asked another female friend for 5k. She told me her bank app wasn’t opening. Till today her bank app hasn’t opened. 😂

Both of them are girls I have come through for, many times.

I also have a female friend I can simply text. Please send me 1m or more, and she will send it because she knows I will refund her.

If I tell any of my male friends I'm hungry and I don’t have money at the moment, they will either send me money if they have it or buy me food if we are together.

These guys have come through for me so many times. Sometimes they are like Jesus coming through for me, and without expecting anything in return.

Sometimes when I’m asking them for something, I don’t even use the word please. I will even threaten them with no option of saying no. 😁

We have come a long way with a short period of time, and I’m always the one giving them trouble 😂.

Researchers gave an AI a task. Instead of doing it as instructed, the AI found a way to cheat the system to get a higher reward.

What shocked researchers was what came next: it tried to hide the evidence of its cheating.

It cheated, benefited, and tried to cover its tracks.

That’s why AI safety matters.
