Never book any events/reservations on the day you arrive. Your flight, train, or bus may be delayed, resulting in lost opportunities and fighting for a refund #traveltips
@stephsmithio The trick is to buy a small home. My wife and I did this and as a result we literally cannot buy too much stuff. A quarterly “minimalism check” is also a good idea: scan your house for what you own and if you haven’t used it for three months, sell or donate it.
@mipsytipsy You ever had those execs at companies who are always coming over and checking in to see how things are going... every 15 minutes? The execs that find it hard to let go of control, find it hard to keep employees (in my experience.)

Adjusting for inflation, Final Fantasy *7* (1997) cost upwards of $135 MILLION to make!
What game would you make with a $135m budget?
@Apple waited 15m in a store and wasn’t looked at once by a single member of staff. Eventually reach out to someone after a staff member walked past me and immediately served a fresh walk in. Was told there is a 15m wait to see someone. I want to buy a watch strap.
My eBike was stolen today at roughly 1500 hours from Queen St. I picked it up from the station on Mary St 45 minutes ago. Their officer was vigilant and spotted a suspicious teenager with my bike, and rest is history. Five hour turn around. Thank you @QPSmedia.
@JeremyBrownTech But but... it's a silver bullet, Jeremy!! One YAML file to rule them all! Of course, the YAML file has been templated with Ansible because YAML cannot natively take parameters... and the YAML file is a Helm chart... and the final result isn't committed anywhere... but K8s!
@JeremyBrownTech https://t.co/3mSLIB09Ma - you'll get a lot of heat for this one, but you're right. So very, very right. Here is my comment: https://t.co/P8GGDUGfb0
@DamNanners@gnomethrower@Zoom I wouldn’t say they’re ruining the platform. What they are doing is preserving bandwidth and compute resources for paying customers, so THEY get a better experience thus keeping them paying. If my premium service is interrupted by free users, I’ll go elsewhere.
Since I’ve been asked a lot:
Buy stock in several companies that make products & services that *you* believe in.
Only sell if you think their products & services are trending worse. Don’t panic when the market does.
This will serve you well in the long-term.
A truck loaded with thousands of copies of Roget's Thesaurus spilled its load leaving New York
Witnesses were stunned, startled, aghast, stupefied, confused, shocked, rattled, paralyzed, dazed, bewildered, surprised, dumbfounded, flabbergasted, confounded, astonished, and numbed.
