@Chuuya_sWife@assa_brdj@mc_helll Y'know what, there is some sort of cultural disconnect here and I am bashing my head against a smug, French brick wall that refuses to understand linguistic differences. It is also 3 am, so I am going to bed.
@sacreu_bleu Actually, small trucks are banned in America by the "No Small Trucks Bill". Every truck must be at least half the length of an American home.
@Oliv_ette I dunno, the water flowing into the hole in the Earth's crust might fuck up the oceans. And I don't know if the Albertans have a beach body ready.
@Chuuya_sWife@assa_brdj@mc_helll Citizens of other countries on the two separate American continents do not, to my knowledge, self-identify as "Americans". The Academie de Francaise has no power here.
@Chuuya_sWife@assa_brdj@mc_helll I understand you perfectly well. You are arguing that Citizens of the United States either should not be called, or are not really, "Americans" because French makes the distinction by having two separate terms. I'm just disagreeing with you.
@Chuuya_sWife@assa_brdj@mc_helll Hey man, we got CALLED "Americans" (not United Statesers) before we started calling ourselves "Americans". You can argue that we shouldn't be called that until the cows come home, but I don't think the Canadians want to take back that name.
@Tonpere93290 I don't live in New York, unfortunately. But I can throw myself off the tallest tower in Cleveland! Purely for Men In Black 3 time-travel purposes.
@assa_brdj@Chuuya_sWife@mc_helll I would love to see a French guy walk up to a Columbian and ask them "What part of America are you from?" It would be doubly funny for a Frenchman to argue with a Canadian that they are "American".
