Craziest news from Nigeria yesterday was the report that some rogue police officers extorted N53,000 from the Chairman of the ICPC Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu (a Senior Advocate of Nigeria) at an illegal checkpoint in Abuja. They didn’t know who he is.
They took him to a POS, he withdrew the money, paid the charges and they shared the money among themselves.
As a young guy that has money, I have come to the conclusion that I can’t be with a woman that likes money but wouldn’t work for it. The more a girl appears needy to me, the less attractive she looks, the more she needs my money, the less the attraction.
So, I know so well that women with this type of mentality disgust me so quick, and even if I have to have anything to do with them, I can’t be there for so long. The longer I stay there, the more disgusted I get.
And I don’t have a problem with women wanting men with money or setting ridiculous standards, everyone has the right to set their standards, but you’ll be fooIish as a man if you can’t set your own standards too.
As much as standards are subjective, but a woman with high level of entitlement, who always need your money or need something from you shouldn’t be the woman you want to call the love of your life after making money for yourself.
Before you get married, have the conversations most couples avoid.
Talk about money. Parenting. Faith and values. What beliefs you'll teach your kids. Family boundaries. Childhood wounds. Sexual expectations. Health. Career ambitions. Education. Lifestyle. Conflict.
If you can't have the hard conversations before marriage, don't expect them to get easier after the wedding. Love is essential but by itself, it isn't enough.
“I don’t think people underrate me. The expectations are just too high. I scored 27 Premier League goals this season, and that was expected. If I score under 30, it’s ‘decent.’ If I score under 25, people say I’ve had a bad season.”😭

Something broke my heart today as I returned from work.
Around 5 pm while driving back, traffic got a little bit heavy. There was a stand still, cars huffing and puffing, horns honking and thonking.
In the midst of the Hullabaloo. An Aged man appeared. I'd say he was about 70 years or above.
He had Grey hair to corroborate.
If i am correct, he had a Brown kaftan with shorts with a knitted Cap whose hems were imprinted with dirts from sweat.
I saw the way he walked, I could tell he has had a stroke in the past.
He had a hemiplegic gait, he swung his leg outward and back inward to maintain his balance.
I saw the way he was limping.
His joints looked deformed, I could tell he had osteoarthritis.
He kept swaying from side to side in pains.
He wasn't comfortable.
I looked into his eyes from my car window, I could not see them, I saw streaks of sweat appearing as beaded artifacts dropping as he made his way within the car traffic.
What was shocking and broke my heart.
He was hawking Cheese Balls.
Apparently, There is a new Cheese Balls that is being marketed, a fairly large pack.
You could see him diligently moving from car to car begging people to buy his Cheese balls.
As he hawked, he gave a little smile that revealed his Diastemma and perhaps a Tobacco stained teeth.
It got me thinking, How can a man in his 70s be hawking Cheese balls on the road.
This was a man that should be in his house enjoying some pension and elderly care funds to take care of him.
I could tell he needed urgent medical attention, but here was a man hustling in his old age, I thought.
What could have happened?
What was the back story?
In the midst of my thoughts, a little path was cleared by cars and I drove.
But for some reasons, a cloak of sadness filled my heart. I kept looking at the man.
