He knows dozens of bikers love this steep climb up Mandeville Canyon in LA on the weekends. He had lemonade, freshly baked cookies, and his Venmo account ready to go. I would’ve paid any amount of money for some sugar at that exact moment. Gotta respect the hustle and savvy timing.

Truth is I’ll probably be working for him some day.

Searching is lonely. Whenever you get the chance to get away from your desk, take a drive and meet an owner, you jump on it. Many of those drives are a waste of a day.
