This afternoon, we kicked off our 20th Century Britain topic with some Blitz themed artwork. We envisioned what the night sky might look like before creating a silhouetted skyline

Today we have been expert problem solvers in Onyx class. We have been completing a stacking cups challenge which got progressively harder and required teamwork, logical thinking and good problem solving skills #beaproblemsolver #curriculumweek @Richmond_HT

Cooking club have had a lovely celebration to mark the end of their club this term. It was great to see so many parents come to join in making cheese and onion pasties with Mrs Vickerstaff and Miss Gittens! @Richmond_HT

We have had a wonderful afternoon at @recycle4gm today where we got a tour of the mixed recycling facility and learnt about what rubbish gets recycled and what rubbish doesn’t! @Richmond_HT #EcoWarriors

This morning in Year 6 we have enjoyed identifying the purpose of leaflets. We looked at a range of different leaflets before identifying the purpose as well as similarities and differences.

Then in the afternoon, we went pond (stream) dipping. We managed to find some sticklebacks, mayflies and even a couple of crayfish. We learnt that this meant the water source wasn’t polluted!

It has been a lovely day at @OfForts today. We have really enjoyed finding a source of the River Mersey and also managed to stop off at this amazing viewpoint this morning before lunch! @Richmond_HT .

@Richmond_HT , we have had a wonderful day celebrating #SaferInternetDay2023. It has been lovely to welcome lots of parents in to our Technology Roadshows in classrooms today. Thanks to all parents who popped in to see how we utilise technology at Richmond.

We have had a fun afternoon celebrating Chinese New Year in Onyx class today. We tried our hands at writing in Chinese and designing our own dragon masks.

We have had a good first day at @RealRobinwood we have been on an obstacle course, climbing, a giant swing and a zip wire! We are looking forward to day two tomorrow @Richmond_HT

Onyx have had a lovely Christmas lunch today at Richmond! We particularly enjoyed pulling our crackers, having a sing song and eating some delicious food! @Richmond_HT

This morning we have been classifying geometric shapes as part of our maths learning. We used technology to allow us to physically move the shapes into the correct place on our Carroll and Venn diagrams.
