I'm not in favor of the hit but he slid late. We're at the point where if QBs are going to run, they should no longer have the protections they do. Once you pass the line of scrimmage, you should be treated as a RB. If the QB wants to slide, it has to be at least 2 yards away from a defender.

How many times have we seen a QB you think is going to slide then keep going and the defenders can't react because they didnt want to get a penalty for a late hit on the QB. Enough is enough. QBs sit in the pocket or scramble but as soon as you start gaining yards, the protections should be over.
