Dear Esteemed Leaders and Aspiring Change-makers, It is with great pleasure that I introduce "NewGen Leader with Adewumi Adeyemi," an initiative aimed at mentoring aspiring leaders and fostering discussions on critical issues surrounding leadership, particularly within the realm of politics. In today's rapidly evolving world, the need for purpose-built leadership has never been more urgent. It is evident that this is what our nation needs at this time. The challenges stemming from poor and failed leadership in our political space over the past decades have significantly impacted our nation's progress. As a legislator deeply committed to nurturing capable leaders, I am thrilled to extend this initiative beyond my local community, welcoming participants from across the state and beyond. Leveraging my experience in initiating similar programs over the past fifteen years, I am delighted to announce the inaugural edition of "NewGen Leader with Adewumi Adeyemi." This presents an invaluable opportunity for individuals passionate about leadership development and nation-building to engage in meaningful dialogue and learning. Interested individuals are invited to complete the form provided via the attached link. Submissions must be received not later than April 13, 2024. https://t.co/n2irLp0pOH Selected participants will receive further details regarding the time, venue, and other pertinent information. Please note that due to limited space, only a select number of participants will be chosen. Thank you for your interest and support in advancing leadership excellence. Together, let's strive for a better Nigeria. Warm regards, Adewumi Adeyemi IREKANDU Honourable Member, Osun State House of Assembly, Obokun State Constituency.

UK BORDER MATTERS. A lady is being held at Heathrow, London as I write. She is here to join her husband who has been in tears all day in what is a genuine relationship. They are holding her because they saw a text between her and her husband preparing her for the journey to the UK as she has never traveled before. The UK Border Force says it is not a genuine relationship because of the conversation but it is genuine. Your text messages and WhatsApp messages on your phone may be accessed at the point of entry. They can use what is there against you even in this case in what is a genuine relationship. They are still holding her. The implications of this is that if she is removed from the UK based on the fact that her relationship is not a genuine one, she will never be back in the UK. The husband just told me that if that happens, he also will have to return to Nigeria as he has no business being here without his wife. Another sad case. What is in your phone?
