A HEALER IN NEED OF HEALING
Mustapha Bashir Ayodeji, a 300L MBBS student at Unilorin, was studying to save lives. Now, he’s fighting for his own.
Bashir has been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Failure. His dreams are on hold as he faces grueling weekly dialysis.
🚀 We’re hiring a Growth Marketing Lead (B2B) — based in Nigeria or Kenya — to help us unlock our next phase of pan-African growth.
This is an important role.
You’ll own enterprise demand generation, working hand-in-hand with sales to build a high-quality commercial pipeline across Africa. You'll also get to work with the inspiring Naomi Kirungu and our energetic and talented team of AMI-GOs 🙌
If you know a data-obsessed B2B marketer who loves building pipeline, shaping strategy, and turning insight into revenue — please share this with them.

It’s increasingly likely that the last adverts you encountered were created by AI or at least partially shaped by it. Moving forward, eight out of every ten tweets you read in a day may be machine-generated. As our social feeds become saturated with synthetic content, skepticism will become instinctive. “It’s probably AI” will be our default response to anything that feels formulaic or click-driven.
Yet we will remain genuinely engaged only when we can perceive the craftsmanship, intention, and lived experience behind the creation of ideas and narratives. Artificial intelligence is compressing both the time horizon and scale of knowledge production, which is pushing audiences to value process-driven, behind-the-scenes storytelling rather than polished outputs alone.
This shift will be most pronounced in the marketing and media industries as more organisations automate routine content workflows. Authenticity will become a new form of competitive advantage as technology reshapes production and distribution at unprecedented scale. As AI-native tools absorb the mechanics of creation, originality will become exceptionally valuable, imitation will be scarce, and the attention economy will undergo a fundamental realignment in both credibility and trust.
Phase 3 – Persistence | Cybersecurity Design Series
After completing the post-compromise stage, I moved into Phase 3: Persistence, where I focused on detecting techniques attackers use to maintain access.
I ran Splunk searches for service installations, autoruns, scheduled tasks,
and schedule task with uncommon users — but found no evidence of persistence in the dataset (botsv2)
Still, it was a solid exercise in understanding how persistence events appear in real investigations. PDFs are available upon request

Post-Compromise Investigation - Phase 2 of my Cybersecurity Design Series
After confirming the brute-force activity from Phase 1, I proceeded to analyze post-compromise behaviors - focusing on account lockout, encoded PowerShell executions, and suspicious command-line patterns
More Phases coming soon - as I continue to build and showcase complete incident investigation workflows from detection to response. Also, the PDF is available upon request. Email: [email protected]
Just finished the Brute-Force Attack simulation phase of my cybersecurity (SOC) design series - designed end-to-end in Figma and validated with Splunk. Built a visual that demonstrates an entire detection workflow: thousands of failed logins (EventCode 4625) > confirmed
login (EventCode 4624), plus a soon-to-come follow-on checks (lockouts, encoded PowerShell, suspicious LOLBins). What I did: designed the simulation, wrote Splunk queries used detection/validation, and produced a one-page case study with containment recommendations.
