@MaxSportsBetts You’ve crushed it all year. I’ve been following most of the summer. I’m over on the discord as well. Really enjoying the chatter over there. We should be more vocal. Sucks the haters ruin it.
@MaxSportsBetts I appreciate you posting your picks. My tendencies are very similar (pitcher outs/Ks), so it’s been nice to see where someone else’s head is at. I’d get it if you pulled the plug or tried to monetize it. Either way, thanks! I’d be interested in the Discord as well.
@YahooFantasyCC You guys have to figure out your lineup alerts. Hiura and Schwarber are both listed as “not starting,” but they are actually starting. People depend on accurate info. They are not the only players listed incorrectly as “not starting.”
@enosarris Get rid of the salsa and mix chopped fresh tomato (or quartered cherry tomato) with the corn and a citrus vinaigrette for a bright relish to wake it up (perhaps with a little shaved jalapeño)...or just add crispy bacon lardons.
@scott_pianowski We are one of the few countries that include gun rights in our Constitution, so culturally it’s ingrained deeper and practically it is much harder to get rid of. It’s not just shifting public policy,it’s changing/interpreting the founding documents of a nation. It’s harder to do.
@aparrenj3 @JeremyGoff76 @ThomasSowell NM, you did answer it. I missed it. This was some nice morning banter. Gotta catch up one of these post house-arrest days.
@aparrenj3 @JeremyGoff76 @ThomasSowell What? You just said that people should be able to have any weapons the government has. Are you saying the government doesn’t have nuclear devices or that you really don’t believe what you said?
@aparrenj3 @JeremyGoff76 @ThomasSowell You have a magic wand to rewrite gun laws. What rules on gun ownership would you have?Any? Can a 12 year old buy a fully automatic weapon? Can I buy a drone with missiles? Can someone with schizophrenia buy a nuclear device? You ok with these?
@aparrenj3 @JeremyGoff76 @ThomasSowell Under normal circumstances, I could go out and get a gun tomorrow. I could legally conseal it and walk around town with it in short order. Is it harder for me to do that today than it was 10 or 20 years ago? And how much harder? Legit question.
@aparrenj3 @JeremyGoff76 @ThomasSowell Which framer’s do you want to contextualize? Most of the federalist believed in a more powerful central gov’t (obviously). In federalist 33 Hamilton argues for expanded federal power, via the elastic & supremacy clauses, specifically for the ability to lay and collect taxes.
