I’m in A&E (not for me).
There is teacher in front of me asking for pain relief as she waits.
How do I know she’s a teacher? She’s planning lessons and prepping work while she sits in what seems like a lot of pain waiting to be seen.
That’s why we have retention issues.
@GiveBloodNHS I think something is wrong with your text message service as I’ve had 12 text reminders in the last 2 days reminding me of my appointment!
Our wonderful children in Key Stage One performed their Nativity ‘Prickly Hay’. They were all incredible and made everyone super proud with their beautiful singing and excellent acting skills. Well done children! We are all definitely feeling in the Christmas spirit now 🎄🎅
So grateful to the students who have said thank you, cards/notes & tokens of appreciation in their last couple of days in school. They’ve taught me that I’ve made an impact in some small way in the short time I’ve been apart of their lives 🥰 not expected hugely appreciated x
@PastoralThings Loved that at my previous school the two worked hand in hand particularly as ‘progress leader’ taught as well as a pastoral role (although not enough non teaching hours) alongside ‘pastoral leader’ with non teaching. It worked and allowed us to collectively help all. I miss it

@ICT_MrP
explains why our teachers have been pushed to the difficult decision to strike, and the list is a lot longer than just pay.

@Teacherglitter It is tough but it is the only way educators have of telling everyone else what the Gov has done to schools. You are doing what’s best for the children in the long run. This info is getting good responses from parents around us, don’t know if you have seen it.
