As a director, working with a talented actor is the greatest honor and in this project (Yumi's Cells), Kim Goeun was exactly that kind of person to him. There is a reason why people like Kim Goeun. She is someone who has no barriers between herself and others. What he saw in Kim Goeun was that she is truly a “great actress,” yet on set she is the most simple and down to earth person. She is close with the staff and fellow actors, and when it comes to food she doesn’t go for anything fancy, she actually prefers simple snacks, like an ordinary neighborhood kid. Because she lives such a simple everyday life, she is able to deliver great acting. He believes that Kim Goeun will continue to grow and become even greater in the future.
