Today in P3C we were experimenting with different techniques using watercolours. The results ended up looking like planets!

This week P3C have started research projects into a famous artist or inventor. We are collating our findings in a google slide to then present to the rest of the class.

We were all eco-warriors on Monday for Earth Day and completed a litter pick around the playground and woods.🌍

3 very happy mathematicians getting 10 out of 10 in our daily 10 yesterday! We were revisiting place value of 2 and 3 digit numbers👍🏻

Earlier this week we were estimating area using counters. The class for very creative with different shapes.

Tofay in P3C we began learning about area. We have begun by using cubes to calculate the area of different shapes. Some children extended their learning by including the formula for calculating area too!

We had our investigator hats on today! Each group had a container with no label or measurement. Their mission was to work out its volume. We had lots of fun in the process 😁

We have been working hard at finding the biggest multiple in various times tables in Big Maths this week.

We were very lucky to have a percussion session today! P3C enjoyed drumming along to the beat 🥁

P3C worked incredibly hard today! We were learning about the digestive system and tried some note taking to help with our writing planning👏🏻

We made the most of the dry weather and did some outdoor learning! We estimated if different items would be shorter, longer or the same length as 1m. Then measured using metre sticks to see if we were correct😊📏

Yesterday we were lucky enough to have RGU students in to run a great basketball session! All of P3C worked so hard to improve their dribbling skills.

Term 3 has begun! In P.E today we started developing our basketball skills, focusing on handling and bouncing the ball.

Its great when pupils just take their own initiative and have created a display of different ways to make £5. Next week we will be looking at budgeting.
