Good news- we made it to Alabama without issues!! However just ahead of us was a car fire and a terrible accident but we weren’t involved!!
Bad news- we are inthe middle (literally) of hurricane Michael and need to evacuate.

This math lesson went from showing doubles and their sums to relating it to x2 and x4. The students also realized that there were many equal expressions and great ways to decompose and compose numbers. They used the split method to add. Biggest aha for 16-"It's a 10, not a 1!"

Family Expo night was a huge success! Simple card and dice games were a hit and each family left with an assortment of games including a deck of cards and dice to continue family bonding! #husky212
