@SkyNews we need to look at how private sector nurses get more money than NHS nurses I’ve worked for both, what they need to do is get private companies to pay carers more than min wage,and to enable companies to do this they need to sort out health and socialcare !!

I have full solidarity with people striking , I’m a nurse I’m a parent of an autistic child and I’m someone who needs public transport and other stuff but the government needs to look at why austerity doesn’t work #12yearshasntworked

@andyjbrum69 @Peterd22 @Edwina_Currie And we are still now going into lockdowns when we have 2 or more staff members with covid which is having a detrimental affect on the residents as they can only have one family member visit but if you work in Tesco and are positive you can go to work

@andyjbrum69 @Peterd22 @Edwina_Currie Andy as a nurse manager of a care home when covid hit I can tell you we had no PPE we had people in the community sewing fabric masks and we had no tests until residents were dying , but I think the government did what they could , but they fucked up with the PPE

@andyjbrum69 @Peterd22 @Edwina_Currie Andy I’m not an economist but I’m someone who feels that the country is in shit and we have too many mega rich people who don’t pay tax & that needs to be sorted,we need a different style of politics, I’d hope you would agree with that, I’m not anti growth but it needs to change

@Peterd22 @andyjbrum69 @Edwina_Currie We need a completely different set of politics , we need to tax the mega rich and filter that down to the people who are struggling, we need to look at schooling and have more hands on lessons not just academic lessons , we need to stop tax exiles etc and that’s just a start x
