I’ve been working hard to amplify books about POC. I recognize that equity/equality is necessary for the LGBTQ+ community too. In honor of my friends welcoming their baby daughter last week-I want to share this title. Kids need to see books like this too! #booksforchange

Today in Randallstown, my son and I joined hundreds of residents to march peacefully against racial injustice and to listen to our youth leaders and elected officials speak about necessary change and action.
Today was L is for Letter Day: Write a letter to future 2nd graders about what they need to know.
“Don’t be shy, ask questions.”
I will take this advice from my 2nd graders and remember not to be shy, but to ask questions, all the time.
