O Little Town of Bethlehem, God's chosen place on earth....
Houses Christ, the Savior, born to give us second birth.
O Come All Ye Faithful gives honor where it's due...
King of all the angels brought to earth for me and you.
And, as we sing The First Noel, know it's not the last...

Protector of the Glory, Mary's womb was given place...
To cover and contain it, till they saw it face-to-face.
Then, as the birth gave witness to the prophecy foretold...

The season is upon us, to resurrect the story...
Of our Savior's first appearance, and why we give Him Glory.
For, Christ was born so we could die from sin's destructive power...
And live as God intended LONG PAST OUR FINAL HOUR..

GOD'S ANSWER TO OUR CRY AT NIGHT......
Our hurts and fears, through all the years, can hide within, and turn to sin.
We justify or just ignore, while deep inside's a tug of war.
But, on the night when Christ was born, news was spread to hearts forlorn.
The thrill of Hope, a star shone bright...GOD'S ANSWER TO OUR CRY AT NIGHT.

Befores and afters play a part along the narrow way....
Like understanding scripture, that we need from day to day.
For the past prepared the future, of God's plan that's now before us...

SINCE THE START OF FALLEN MAN.....
Some shy away from honesty, some shy away from truth...
In fear of confrontation that has harmed them from their youth.
But God has graced His children, as they follow in His plan...
To give Him all the glory, SINCE THE START OF FALLEN MAN.

WITH TRUTH THAT MAKES US SING....
How quickly it's forgotten, that God is in control...
While spending days in peril, by an ever troubled soul.
But, God supplies our every need, His will for us to bring...
By replacing undue pressure, WITH TRUTH THAT MAKES US SING.

UNTIL NEW LIFE IS FOUND......
Shame is not a common word, we rarely hear it spoken....
Yet, Jesus took it on the cross, and not just as a token.
For human nature manifests the sin that keeps us bound....
While guilt and shame are glorified UNTIL NEW LIFE IS FOUND.

BEFORE THE SETTING SUN....
How quick we are to seek a friend when difficulties rise....
Knowing they will patronize with words not always wise.
But, there are some whom God ordains to point us to the One...
Who brings us Kingdom Graces BEFORE THE SETTING SUN.
