It has been a blast participating in #AffectTheCulture with @AikenPublicSch this month. 150 tweets later and I’ve clearly caught the bug! There’ll be plenty more to come! #WhyITeachLMMS @LMMSRocks @affectheculture

Grateful to the incredibly #AffectTheCulture team at @LMMSRocks for bringing joy every day! @affectheculture @AikenPublicSch

Absolutely the high point of the year: my mentee, Allison Verhotz, ACPSD First Year Teacher of the Year! #SoProud #WhyITeachLMMS #AffectTheCulture @LMMSRocks @affectheculture @AikenPublicSch

Last one of the day, but it’s true treasure- I teach for the days I look out during lunch to see this bunch of...what? #TheyreHanvingABlast #ImLaughingSoHard #CircleStickerClub #OnlyMiddleSchool #WhyITeachLMMS #AffectTheCulture @LMMSRocks @affectheculture @AikenPublicSch

I also ❤️ dinosaurs! Earlier this year, Tyler 3D printed me the COOLEST blue dinosaur. Then this week, Bryan brought me dinosaurs he’d loved as a wee one. They notice- and care- as much as we do. #WhyITeachLMMS #AffectTheCulture @LMMSRocks @affectheculture @AikenPublicSch

I ❤️ PEARS. So does the LMMS cafeteria. The students are not huge fans, so pear days I get about 20 pears offered to me. They get them because they know I love them. This is #WhyITeachLMMS #ForThePears #AffectTheCulture @LMMSRocks @affectheculture @AikenPublicSch

[Allison Boggess @mrsboggess]

Gratitude is the best attitude. Earlier this year, I made a space in the workroom for LMMS to share what makes them grateful. Seeing it grow all year makes my heart grow 20 sizes. #WhyITeachLMMS #AffectTheCulture @LMMSRocks @affectheculture @AikenPublicSch

After the season ends, Academic Team practice becomes a weekly hangout. It’s hard to tell who likes it more, me or them. #WhyITeachLMMS #HamiltonEveryWeek #AffectTheCulture @LMMSRocks @affectheculture @AikenPublicSch

One of our students is in the middle of writing her original series and made dolls of the characters, including outfits, just because. Tell me middle schoolers won’t change the world. #WhyITeachLMMS #AffectTheCulture @LMMSRocks @affectheculture @AikenPublicSch

Aiken County has the best science teachers around- just look at them! We owe Micki Dove so much and are so grateful to her for all she’s taught us! #ScienceLove #WhyITeachLMMS #AffectTheCulture @LMMSRocks @affectheculture @AikenPublicSch
