Fourth grade Halloween🧡 who doesn’t love cleaning out pumpkins, making your own face, and watching it volcano out of the mouth! #koalascreate#omeshalloween
This week in fourth grade we made factor rainbows and turned ourselves into coal miners (or chocolate chip minors) in science. Who knew a cookie had sooo many chocolate chips? They were impressed!
THANK YOU to all of our Koala families for your contributions to Go Gold Grams. We were able to purchase A LOT of love to send to the Addison Jo Blair Cancer Center for inpatient families.
This week we have celebrated our amazing and wonderful FRYSC and Counselor. We are seriously blessed to have Mrs. Lowery and Mrs. Joiner at Old Mill! 🐨❤️❤️

Kindness month is off to a great start!! The fourth grade came together collected candy to create individually wrapped valentine goodie bags (90 to be specific) for the residents at sanders ridge! #kindnessmonth#koalaleaders#movingforward
Silly faces for our google meet! These 4th graders have knocked it out of the park the past two days! They worked in breakout rooms, found figurative language in their stories, and just worked so hard! I am one proud teacher! #lunchintheroommonday#koalascreate#movingforward
One of the many reason hadley has the best teacher! She was out sick Thursday and they had been working on a group project and she was able to still work with her group and finish the project from home❤️#bestofthebest#koalaleaders
Trying new things to get full engagement is my jam!!! Who knew letting students draw their angles on the floor tiles would be so much fun! (Yes we are cleaning it off just dry erase markers, but the students wanted it to last one more day!)
Teachers, to start off 2022, I'm offering two free 30-minute virtual appearances. I can talk about writing, share a preview of I Survived in progress, or whatever you would like. No limit to the number of students, can do grades 3-8. RT to enter. I will notify winners 1/10.
As students have been learning about weathering and erosion we had the opportunity to bring in our new schools architect to explain how weathering and erosion was taken into consideration when designing and building our new building! #movingforward#PBL
