A former student who also worked for me this past summer, passed away recently. She was kind, hard working and always positive. Please consider donating to the GoFundMe page to help raise money for her family during this challenging time: https://t.co/RLV6kLZ23T

Sincerely,
A teacher who has had a poster of the Jonas Brothers hanging in her classroom for the past 6 years :)
Today, I had interviews with some of the teenagers we will have working for us this summer. One of them looked so familiar - turns out he was my student in 4th grade! He was 9 years old. He is now 18 years old! I recognized him right away 🥺
Thank you to all that joined us today for career day and a special thank you to our wonderful @FallRiverPD housing unit officers Eric and Tommy for stopping by to discuss the importance of safety in our community!
Students worked on their design process today in science! Building bridges to hold a hard cover textbook! I bought them some construction vests to wear during the working period to get them in the working mindset of being a true engineer!
Tomorrow, students will become “first time home owners” in math as they use their math skills to solve real-world math problems and I turn into a rookie real estate agent with 0% agent skills and 100% math teacher skills 🤣😀
Today I told my students that this week is teacher appreciation week and what better way to spend extra time this week than with those who give me the title of teacher! 💙💛
Can anyone guess what 5th grade will be learning tomorrow?! They will be surprised to see this life-sized grid on our classroom floor!
I guess you could say I am “plotting” something really fun for our scholars! 🤣👀
I believe the answer is 30. The left of the = x 2 is what is getting subtracted to get the right side. For example: 7x2= 14 and 56-14 = 42.
So, 6x2= 12 and 42 -12 = 30.
3 = 30?
