@druinok I hesitate to give them the whole ws at one time because that undermines the thinking and gives them an "end" to focus on and work towards.

@druinok I am hoping to use the MM ws as the task at the board. I am not planning to give them a full worksheet every time, but the activities that require pictures I will have projected on the board for them to see and reference.

@druinok I only teach regular, but I would imagine for honors it would be different starting point in questions & thin slicing. Topics & order would remain the same, but I would make bigger leaps in learning maybe within the lessons through examples & my help/hints would look different.

@druinok I'm hoping to go all in w/BTC. I'm brand new to it, tho. My biggest struggle is grading & assessments. I'm planning to rewrite/revise each of my assessments to make easier to standardize & level. The assessments may be the one part that doesn't match BTC for this year, though.

@druinok I spent a lot of June working on order & finding activities. Then I took July off. I'm just now getting back into the groove. I'm working on my syllabus now. We have to use a school-wide template, so I'm trying to fill in the blanks in a way that emphasizes BTC style & strengths.

@edtechmathteach I say 1 week after they get original test or quiz back. We're moving on. If they spend too much time redoing, they won't be caught up with new material. Then the cycle is neverending for those students. They have to meet with me twice in that week, so it's a lot of work for them.

@samjshah2 I use 3D printing in Alg 2. After learning conic sections, they use Desmos to create a design using equations & domain/range restrictions. Then we convert to be able to use Tinkercad & print on our 3D printers.

@zimmerdiamonds Classical music on YouTube. I typically search Mozart study music and listen to those playlists. I can't have anything with lyrics or instrumental versions of songs with lyrics I know or I get distracted by the music and take much longer to grade.

@VizLowerSchool That is very fitting for the a library elephant, and double fitting for your specific library! I forgot Dr. Seuss' Horton was an elephant also. :-)
