It took a woman who’d had a double mastectomy to remind me to reclaim my god-given right to struggle to feed my baby.

@cauchyfriend @dragoncowman1 For goodness sake, breastfeed. It’s not easy, but it’ll open doors to a whole new world that you’ll be pleased you entered, where you are an empowered parent and not be in thrall to doctors and govt agencies. And the people you meet will humanise you no end.

@DrAseemMalhotra Just got to add that even if you’re not in great health, improving your health should be your priority. 😁 Vaccinating against an eminently survivable disease is bargaining with your condition. Even if you don’t lose weight. Changing your metabolic health is huge.

@DrAseemMalhotra I read this yesterday and was horrified to see blimmin’ @EMASNHSTrust involved too. I know theirs was a peripheral role, but as someone who was triaged incorrectly by them I can only imagine the caller’s despair. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. So unnecessary and tragic.
