To improve your performance in games, you need to feed your mind positive thoughts and block out all negativity. Celebrate your good plays and quickly forget about your mistakes. The more you do this, the more confident you’ll be under pressure.
As an athlete, don’t worry so much about how you compare to others. Rather than trying to be the very best, focus more on being the best version of yourself.
As an athlete, your sport is more than a game, but it’s not life. You should take your sport seriously and work hard to achieve your goals, but never lose sight of what matters most in life.

1. Breathe and stay in the moment.
2. Focus on the process.
3. Maintain positive body language.
4. Keep your mind occupied with positive thoughts.
Be positive.

What is down in the well comes up in the bucket.
Fill yourself with positive things.

Confidence mainly comes from hard work and preparation, but positive self-talk and visualization can complement your training and give you the extra confidence you need to perform your best in games.
Coaching is about caring.
Caring about your players’ success and connecting with their hearts and minds.
We have a job to prepare them for life after college.
