If the government wants to read your emails, it should have to convince a judge first. That's what the Fourth Amendment requires. That's what my Fourth Amendment Restoration and Protection Act restores. No warrant, no search.
Everything is so expensive because the government spends too much.
Inflation is a tax on working folks, which is why I vote against the things that cause inflation.
Common sense!
@EdGallrein That’s a bold strategy cotton, let’s see if it pays off for you… trying to hit me for voting against the PPP loan program which you later used to bilk the taxpayers. Show up to a single debate and let’s discuss that one. 🐥
Congress asked GOA: "How many Biden-era ATF rules are still either on the books or continue to be enforced?"
The sad truth is: ALL OF THEM.
@AGPamBondi squandered her time in office DEFENDING Biden-era gun control. It's past time for change at @TheJusticeDept.
Over the first 4 years, the Big Beautiful Bill adds nearly $2 trillion to our deficit, beyond the deficit that would have been caused by Biden level spending. That’s right, Republicans have increased spending, and I’m taking all kinds of heat for calling them out on the betrayal.
🚨 Andy Beshear vetoes bill to protect your tax dollars from political uses 🚨
Andy Beshear has predictably vetoed @Rawlings4Ky’s SB 59, which I carried in the House, to bring accountability when governments illegally use your tax dollars to finance political activities.
Tax dollars should be used to protect life, liberty, or property - NOT for politics! Governments using tax dollars to engage in politics is blatant corruption, denies funding to essential services, and often is used to advocate for even more taxes on you (maybe a tax increase wouldn’t be necessary if the government didn’t waste your money on political campaigns).
For years, it has been illegal to use state, federal, or local tax dollars to advocate for or against ballot measures in KY. The problem: there is no penalty for violating the law, and governments have persistently ignored this law. SB 59 fixes this issue by adding penalties to this preexisting law.
But Andy Beshear vetoed this basic anti-corruption measure. His reason: he claims you not being forced to pay for someone else’s advocacy violates the First Amendment. He’s wrong as usual.
The Supreme Court has ruled repeatedly that compelled speech violates the First Amendment and that the First Amendment protects the financial elements of speech, yet this happens every single day through taxpayer-funded lobbying!
The First Amendment protects your right to speak. It also protects your right to choose NOT to speak. It’s obviously unconstitutional! It’s not right. It’s not conservative or liberal, it’s a structural corruption that tilts the playing field against citizens and in favor of bigger government.
Andy Beshear wants you to be FORCED to finance his corrupt special interest groups and his presidential campaign. We won’t let it happen.
SB 59 protects your voice and stops the forced financing of government speech. I look forward to overriding the governor’s veto!
@dbongino Daniel, you have 5 times as many followers as me, yet I ratioed you three times today. When I caught you in lies, you just started new threads. Have fun interviewing a warm-body fool on April fool’s day. I think even you pitching softballs will recognize what a goof this guy is.
