Last weekend Trooper Adam Gane presented Trooper Wade Palmer with his service pistol. Trooper Palmer's pistol was purchased by the Association of Montana Troopers so it could be given back to Trooper Palmer. Thank you Trooper Palmer for your years of service & dedication!
On May 25, 1935 the first 24 patrolman took to the road. Their starting salary was $125 per month. They were instructed not to make arrests except in extreme cases. Six of them were assigned to our "Flying Squadron" and rode motorcycles. Who wants to see motorcycles come back?
