In 2nd grade last week we were learning all about text features! Students worked in small groups to match the non fiction text features with the definition and an example. We also went on a hunt through non fiction books. #2ndgrade #textfeatures @arrowoodbucs @XeniaSchools

We started our place value unit today - exploring 1000! They quickly figured out bundling up a 10 was the way to go. Before too long they discovered bundles of 10 can make 100. Loved watching them make these connections #handsonmath @arrowoodbucs @XeniaSchools #MyOhioClassroom
