A2: Know kids names, ask about personal/non academic things, use humor, let KIDS talk. Love the 2 x 10 strategy for hard to reach kids. 2 minutes a day for 10 days, just chat with them. I've seen it do wonders! #wcedchat

A4: Compliments & shout outs at team meetings. Staff wide emails of thanks. Mattergram Mondays - every staff writes/sends one once a month on a specific Monday. #wcedchat

A3: As a principal I'm doing a building wide thing during morning announcements the month of November. I give a prompt to share with others what you are thankful about and then share mine. It's fun! Kids stop me to tell me their answer when they see me in the hall.
