It is hard to believe that it's that time of year again where training begins for those who run for a great cause! This year Dom has dedicated himself to run and raise money for the PICU at Children's Hospital. This year he is running a full marathon.

Tonight @HawthorneWCS Intermediate Coders presented their final projects.What an amazing job they did presenting not only RC cars,Simon says games,animal ? games & temperature readers all through code and design with read board and bread boards. Well done couldn't be more proud!

Tonight @HawthorneWCS Intermediate coders worked on red boards with potentiometers and added a sound button Learning to code Happy birthday and changing sounds within a code. Great job tonight! Music and code!

@HawthorneWCS Beginning Coders had an Excellent meeting tonight. Coders continued developing understanding of code and patterns working with the Sphero minis from single patterns, combining patterns to circles. Very impressed.

@HawthorneWCS Intermediate Coders Today combined potentiometers, photo, resistors, and red/green/blue LED lights to make multicolored night lights. Hard work great focus another great meeting.

@HawthorneWCS Beginning Coders were Given pre drawn multiple paths coders worked on writing code to follow the paths with the Sphero mini. Very exciting !

Today Beginning @HawthorneWCS coders worked on coding both a path and delay for their mini Sphero. Fun times and great work for their first time trying!!

Tonight @HawthorneWCS Intermediate coding club members added potentiometers to red boards allowing students to control the variance in light speed.

@HawthorneWCS Intermediate Coding Club continued our code work with red board microprocessors then began to expand by adding a second light.

@HawthorneWCS Beginning Coders were introduced to the Sphero mini.They worked as partners and learned to aim, drive & maneuver the Sphero.Loads of smiles & lots of chatter & ideas about how to make it move. Looking forward to expanding our knowledge over the next several meetings
