@beyondgoinglong @scriptwren I'm a teacher of 20+ years. I've had max 5 days off in that time (for a surgery!) I think you'd be surprised. It is a job where it is harder to be off as you still have to send in the lesson plans and resources.

@KKNTeachLearn It was my day off and I usually sit inside and do planning and marking. No work got done and it felt the best day ever! The work will get done...it always does!

@jengibbons76 @bennewmark Me too. I have 6 lessons left and got 4 lessons of the spec left to teach. 2 hours for revision isn't ideal. One of my lessons this week is just giving out loads of sheets as haven't time to do any effective teaching. 😭

@AQA Going to finish teaching your History GCSE with two lessons to spare before study leave. That's 2 hours and 20 mins to revise 4 units. Please sort out this content heavy GCSE.
