I see a lot of “underpaid” & “overworked” as reasons for teacher burnout/shortage. But what’s missing is the respect for teachers from every level. #teachertwitter
@sage_stage Our hs hasn’t been able to fill the only two science positions in the school that both happened to come vacant after last year. Kids are going to have to do credit recovery work online unless a miracle happens.
New principal started our meeting today by saying "I'm not going to make you walk around the room for ice breakers or make you sit through a 50 slide PPT. We're professionals... work in your rooms on what you need & get things done." Hoping this is a sign of a wonderful year!
