The children in our communities are getting a terrible deal as a result of poor funding for over a decade, and unfortunately hands have now been tied.

@WRBdB I don’t think the learning you’re talking about would be significantly impacted. The stuff we learn simply by being at school isn’t exclusively learnt at school & many will get experiences at home that will be just as beneficial. My point is, academically, children won’t suffer.

Class sizes up, teacher recruitment down, TA recruitment down, budgets for resources (books/pens/paper/printing) all down. I promise you, this is more disruptive in the long term than 4 strike days.
