We had a distance learning opportunity today. Watertown High School students read books to our students and performed two songs from Seussical. @MrsLyndaker1@WestCarthageES
A3: I send a pre-conference survey so I have a heads up about parent concerns. It allows me to gather materials/data if necessary and it keeps us focused on answering thise questions or concerns during the conference. #WB4K
A4: every year I worry about some unpredictable parent or issue. I get myself all stressed out about it, and it never happens. I always dread conferences but really don’t have a good reason for it. It’s like those night before the first day nightmares. #WB4K
I need to hone in my delivery of such info. I have kids that get so discouraged if they don’t know an answer to one question. How do you go about tactfully explaining what they do/don’t know?
A2: I would love to involve Ss in part of the process. I have a really hard time figuring out how. I know parents are sometimes uncomfortable with it, I’ve had parents ask their child to wait outside the room. How do you say everything that needs to be said in front of Ss? #WB4K
