🚨 Josh Shapiro Can't Get Stuff Done 🚨

Late last week Shady Josh Shapiro said that no businesses were interested in participating in the Great American State Fair, which celebrates America's 250th Birthday.

Then on Saturday morning, we found out that Senators McCormick and Fetterman stepped in on short notice and organized a group of Pennsylvania businesses and organizations to showcase our Commonwealth on the national stage.

It turns out, Shapiro only started looking for participants two weeks ago and never intended to participate.

This is what you get from Josh Shapiro: constant lies, politics over Pennsylvanians, and a lackluster effort that never meets expectations.

In 2017, a 69-year-old doctor was beaten unconscious on a United Airlines flight.

He wasn't drunk.
He wasn't violent.
He wasn't breaking any law.

Dr. David Dao had a paid ticket and was already seated on United Express Flight 3411 at Chicago O'Hare.

The airline overbooked the flight and needed 4 seats for their own crew.

When no one volunteered, they randomly selected passengers to remove.

Three complied. Dr. Dao said no — he had patients to see the next morning.
So they called security.

Officers grabbed him, slammed his face into the armrest, knocked him unconscious, and dragged his limp body down the aisle.

Broken nose. Concussion. Two teeth gone.

Passengers filmed everything. The video was viewed 6.8 million times in 24 hours.

United's CEO called Dr. Dao "disruptive and belligerent."

A paying customer. A doctor. Sitting in his seat. Belligerent.

The backlash was instant:
→ United lost $1 billion in market value overnight
→ Two security officers were fired
→ The CEO was forced to publicly apologize on live TV
→ Dr. Dao received an undisclosed settlement

And here's what shocks me as someone from Japan:
In America, overbooking is completely legal. Airlines sold more tickets than seats on purpose — and in 2024 alone, 25,500 passengers were involuntarily removed from flights.

In Japan, airlines technically can overbook. But physically dragging a seated, ticket-holding passenger off a plane? It would be unthinkable.

Not because of better laws — but because it would be considered a fundamental violation of trust between the airline and the customer.

Dr. Dao came to America as a refugee from Vietnam. He was rescued from the ocean by the U.S. Navy. He built a medical career, ran marathons, and opened a clinic for veterans to repay that debt.

And America thanked him by smashing his face into an armrest.

United says they've changed.
They say "this will never happen again."

But 25,500 passengers were still bumped against their will last year.

They just don't beat them anymore.
