@szilai @heymrsbond You can also combat this fear by annotating the section you are going to read. It takes time on the front end at first but I do it with my fifth graders and I’ve seen major improvement. We pick out and define the words we don’t know before we read, then they all want to read!
I cried watching YOU. I feel so lucky to have gotten to watch you all these years, but this week was a lesson in emotional intelligence and resilience. We all learned from you. Thank you.
@PresidentPat @PixtonEDU @CanvasLMS@MicrosoftTeams After everyone is done you click on the “class photo” tab and everyone will be put into your digital picture!
I hope that helps. There are also a couple of YouTube videos that can explain as well that I watched!
So today, my class and I used @PixtonEDU to create a digital class photo! Now our @CanvasLMS and @MicrosoftTeams can really represent us! My kids did so well (way better than me) and had a blast creating their own unique avatar!
@PresidentPat @PixtonEDU @CanvasLMS@MicrosoftTeams It’s super easy!
1.Just go to https://t.co/TDwlgaPnYK and create a free account.
2. You will be prompted to create a class and then make your own avatar
3. Share your “class join code” with your students and they will be able to create one!
@specialtechie Being 100% virtual I definitely find that taking a “screen break” helps very much. Between Teams calls, lesson planning, and responding to everyone, my whole face and head will ache by the end of the day if I don’t give myself a break.
