@StephanFrost I will never forget when my parents reorganized the cutlery drawer without telling me first. Or when my mom cut off all her long hair. Or when they cut down the tree in our yard. I had a complete mental breakdown. Please involve us in changes and help us be okay with it first.
@StephanFrost When we tell you we don’t know how to do something, it’s because we *literally* don’t know how. We’re not talking back, being lazy, or disrespectful. I promise. SHOW us how to do it, and if it doesn’t make sense to us, believe us. Explain/show us another way to do it.
@rosyhumbug They really are, I remember when I lost my hamster in grade school, I cried all morning and didn’t go to school. For now, I’ll just give my kitties all the love I can ❤️
@msgoll I am ashamed to say that I prefer calling over texting 😂 I don’t have to type out my whole thought process - it’s just easier. I can better convey my emotions about whatever topic we are discussing 🤷🏽♀️
@zettermark@MamaDoctorJones Aim higher. That’s like telling a paraplegic to just “try harder”. We’re trying, but the choice isn’t even there at this point.
@janellecamm @rosyhumbug I had a small wedding (25 people). Did the ceremony at a garden center (under $500 for 2 hours). We had the reception at a nice restaurant with a private party area and including all food, drinks, and rental it was about $2,500. Best decision ever.
@caleb_micah_s Yes I promise 😂 not judging anyone who does it, but man I had no reason for it and I would prefer to not have had my new husband stick his head up my dress in front of mine and his parents.
