A strong school culture is not created by accident. It’s taught not caught.

It’s the whole school community knowing the school’s core mission, values, principles and believing in them - ‘this is how we do things here’.

It’s the whole school rowing in the same direction, narrating the why and sweating the small stuff. All staff realising that it might be easier to ignore but knowing the standard you walk past is the standard you accept.

It’s the whole community knowing that letting a student off can have a ripple effect on the culture. Connecting with the student before correcting and linking back to the values.

It’s the whole community knowing that a strong culture is lived not laminated. The mission, values and principles are lived every lesson, every transition, every interaction, every day. It is a collective responsibility to promote the shared language.

A strong school culture doesn’t happen by chance.
