Yet again I am so grateful for our NHS, an ovarian cyst rupture and my own stubbornness lead to a raging infection which is now coming down nicely. Thank you to all in NUH emergency department, AMRA and ward A23.
After spending 28 days in NICU with my boy, this makes me so sick. All the staff were amazing and cared for us all. I would hate for one psychopath to make parents more worried than they already are during their stay. NICU nurses are amazing!
Amazing work Emma π
She's completed the Isle of Wight Half Challenge to say thank you to NICU at City Hospital after son James was born prematurely π
She wanted to say thank you for their exemplary care, and to keep the tea and toast flowing for parents πβ
Last weekend I ran 34 miles in the Isle of Wight βhalfβ challenge. I am fundraising for @NUHNeonatal who cared so well for my son James. Please out my @JustGiving page and please donate if you can. Thank you! #JustGiving https://t.co/GP29PThZi2
We are really excited that @Stuart_McDonaldβs Neonatal Care (Leave & Pay) Bill will have its Third Reading in the House of Commons tomorrow. If it passes, the Bill will be one step closer to becoming law and weβll be one step closer to #NeonatalLeave & Pay for NICU families. π§‘
Happy #InternationalNeonatalNursesDay!
