Tonight I, a sheltered cis woman, witnessed for the first time my best friend get misgendered and I can’t describe the distress it put her through. It is not hard to get someone’s pronouns right. If you don’t try you are a shitty person and I have no time for you. Fuck you.

@jourdayen I was with someone 12 years my senior when I was 24. It wasn’t a good relationship but that had nothing to do with the age gap, I don’t really get the issue

@Nyxfears I’m a cis woman and I once was transphobic by default (grew up in a church). Watching ContraPoints introduced me to trans issues, but it was watching you transition in real time that really stamped out my transphobia. You being and becoming yourself made me a less shitty person.
