#GESPride @strickland1229 @EmilyBooze1@MarilynStinson 1st grader’s pitting first things first-we have to write about our experiment before we can enjoy it!
Kids who have access to a current, well stocked, and well maintained library read 60% more than kids that don’t. Our classroom libraries are powerful tools in building readers. @sfrazintcrwp #tcrwp

Interventions + books is the perfect partnership. How can we even think about interventions devoid of books. Skill and drill will never do the job that only an amazing book and a knowledge teacher who knows research and knows kids. PERIOD! Isolation isn’t reading #G2Great
A1 STOP letting our obsession with one-size-fits-all suck the very life out of our teaching. Programs, packages and scripts in a box are once again in fashion and I find it baffling. Why would we think this is in the best interest of teacher OR kids? #G2Great#StopRightNow39
A6 Every building should have a literacy coach, someone who knows research and knows how to work with others in respectful ways. It’s one of the best investments we can make. #G2Great#StopRightNow39
