We have left Auschwitz-Birkenau and are on the way to Schindler’s Factory. Simply can’t get over how respectful and mature our pupils are being, in a very emotional and upsetting setting. So proud! Our tour guide couldn’t stop complimenting the kids too. @AuschwitzMuseum

Pupils during their tour of the Galicia Museum. Afterwards, they listened to a talk from a Holocaust survivor, pictured here. A very impactful moment!

For obvious reasons, the situation in Ukraine hit peak interest in school. Students keen for answers/reassurance. Tip of the iceberg but the ‘conflict at a glance’ looks to the geography, history/politics of the dispute. Hopefully it provides accessible insight. #historyteacher
