@Cmdr_Hadfield @blueorigin It's always very disheartening when this happens. I was hyped for a Wallops Island launch some years ago, because I can see it from my house when the booster separates, but it blew up on the launch pad. Such a bummer.

@Cmdr_Hadfield Neal Stephenson wrote Anathem, in which people were packed into capsules with Styrofoam, on top of rockets, and shot into LEO from the back of pickup trucks. It's fantastic to hear you went through a similar 🤣experience. Minus the pickup trucks, of course.

@BuzzPatterson I had the Hong Kong flu. I was bedridden for a week. I didn't feel sorry for myself, I was just glad I lost some weight. Then went on with life. No big deal.
