While learning about Earth’s changes, students took on the challenge of designing solutions to lessen the impact of a natural disaster inspired by their novel. Yesterday was Simulation Day 1 🔥
We can’t wait to see their improvements for Simulation Day 2! 🚀 #ourbmsa
And just like that, our first PBL has come to a
close. We learned so much about Indigenous peoples! For their final project, students were challenged to create a modern day version of a wigwam, tipi, or long house with a sustainable energy source. They did amazing! #OurBMSA
Today @MrsShea_ , @Mrs_Sims_IS , Mrs. Pahls and I went to cheer on our third grade football players and cheerleaders! We’re SO proud of how hard they played! 🏈❤️💙🎉
What an awesome morning in kindergarten! We had various volunteers come do some hands on activities in their field of work with my students as part of our goods and services PBL! A huge thanks to Belknap Plumbing, Trooper Langston, and Nurse Brittany Belknap #OurBMSA#OAISS
Tonight I went to a baseball game for some of my students. One of them came up to me & excitedly told me “Guess what!? My dad is building a house and the drywall guy mudded the drywall, and that is a SERVICE!”
After teaching them about goods and services, my teacher 🧡 is proud.
