@MrLandesman For a 7th grade boy, it's sort of a "rite of passage." At the beginning of the year, they can't do it. BUT, they've got it by the end of the year. I always tell them "Wow, I remember when you couldn't do that! You're getting tall!"
@BBGossip I’m guessing it’s a returning houseguest and each week the Time Machine twist will exchange them out for a different returning houseguest from a different season.
MS Math: Memory Walks, Scavenger Hunts, Escape Challenges. My favorite test review was "Find Someone Who..." - students would start with a handout of 15 problems & had to find a different classmate for each problem. They also had to be available to work on other's handouts.
@eschy12 Slip and Slide - as with all concepts, you discuss the reasoning around it. In my book, it’s fine and no different than the “X” or Diamond methods.
@TechySewell I did this for many years. I shopped the back to school sales for notebooks, paper, pencils, crayons, makers, highlighters - you name it! It wasn’t “right” that it came out of my pocket, but we had big things to get done and lack of supplies wasn’t going to derail us.
This makes me sick! While I’m glad good things are coming to this young man, nothing will take away his horrible game experience. Why are people like this?
Patriots owner Robert Kraft has invited this Patriots fan to this weekend’s game at Gillette.
Jerry Edmond -at his first NFL game- kept his composure while an obnoxious and aggressive Raiders fan got in his face.
I think his 2nd game will be better!
@yesrod2004 My students were allowed to sign up for a study hall (one 30 minute session) with me within one week of a given assessment and make corrections for full credit. After the one week, the grade was set.
