I asked my students what kind of President they wanted. They said fair, helpful, kind to everyone, brave, not selfish, positive, and someone who follows the rules. YES.
@champforkids This is SO important right now! Make time to talk, take breaks when needed, spend time together as a family, read together and chat about the book (TONS of really great SEL books!) and find ways for your child to connect with other kids (even virtually!) #champforkids
@champforkids Create a checklist and a schedule. I know most teachers are sending the work/assignments/ learning plan before the week starts. Look at it and create a pacing schedule that works for your student! #champforkids
@champforkids Find fun learning experiences that involve real life problems or experiences, look for ways to work with pencil and paper, and set a timer for tech time! #champforkids

@TeachMrReed “Give me a thumbs up if you can see me and hear me!” “Ok- I’m going to share my screen with you now... give me a second...” “Make sure you are sitting in front of your device and not doing anything distracting... holding up random objects in your camera is distracting!”
Every. Single. Class...
Me: Hey, guys!

115 books shared with my amazing 2nd graders so far this year. Bummed I won’t be able to share books with them in person for the next 2 weeks. @Steele_Notes
