What an unforgettable day at the Shedd Aquarium! From learning about animal adaptations and habitats to observing incredible marine life and petting starfish, our students had so much fun exploring and discovering together! 🐬

At our symposium, students dressed as influential figures and delivered speeches in character, sharing their inspiring stories and lasting impacts. We are so proud of their hard work, creativity, and confidence. We can’t wait to see the difference they make in the world too! 💙

Today we enjoyed poetry to celebrate Read Across America Week! Each student was given four random words and phrases to include in a poem. Wow, did they rise to the challenge! From silly to heartfelt to completely unexpected, their creativity truly shined. ✏️

Our students had a wonderful time at the All Abilities Fair! Through hands-on activities, they learned the importance of acceptance, inclusion, and respect for all abilities. So proud of their kindness and open hearts! 💙

This month’s Character Strong focus was perseverance. Our whole class has been working hard to keep going, even when things feel challenging. Today we celebrated these two, who went above and beyond by showing determination, grit, and a “never give up” attitude!
