@wfaaweather This is extra hard for teachers since August is when our summer is over… but I am eternally grateful for an indoor, climate-controlled job!
@leeannjung@rickwormeli2 I understand the intent and am all for it. It’s the logistics that are the beast. I teach math to 6th graders- in 42 minute class periods. Would need some guidance juggling up to 75 unfinished tests and more time needed.
@heymrsbond Thank you for this perspective. I'm okay with all of it -- the overblown prom and the questioning of it. But you're right. Prom and how they spend their money is their business.
I can't quit thinking about this idea. Like why hasn't it gained ground? We can't blame the pandemic for the next 10 years of behaviors. Screens may be a great place to look.
Gee, maybe the state education standards that are no longer normative or based on psychological principles are causing kids to miss developmental milestones! Maybe that’s why kids are maladjusted! Who COULD HAVE POSSIBLY WARNED YOU A DECADE AGO?? Hmmmmmmm? #mapoli#MAedu#TBATs
@Kidfears99 I am not a litigious person…. but I cannot wait for the day that someone sues insurance companies for medical malpractice. This is ridiculous.
@shetheybeyonce I just now read what all you are doing. Holy cow if you even eat dinner pat yourself on the back. We do several Trader Joe’s ready made meals, and other ready made stuff from Costco. Taco meat for nachos and that’s about it.
@GiftedTawk Don’t be afraid to do something for one kid just bc I can’t do it for all. All may not need to help me pass out papers but this one needs that responsibility and approval.
